Marlies Visser is an experienced executive with a broad background in energy infrastructure and public transportation. She combines strategic insight with a deep understanding of execution. As COO and statutory member of the Executive Board at Alliander (2020–2025), she was primarily responsible for the operational transformation and supply chain collaboration that enables the energy transition in practice. She achieved a fourfold increase in implementation output and was the driving force behind the national implementation agreement for the reinforcement of electricity grids (NBNL). Previously, she held leadership positions at NS and Qbuzz. In her executive role, she has made a significant contribution to addressing the shortage of technically skilled personnel—including the development of new recruitment and matching concepts to better align supply and demand in the skilled labor market.
